A few years ago I meet the owners of Eau D’Itale, Marina Sersale and Sebastian Alvarez Murena, at an event at Lafco sponsored by Men’s Health magazine. Brian Boye, the magazine’s fashion and grooming editor made the introduction and we chatted the evening away about their collection, its inspiration and I learned that Sebastian was a fellow cigar lover. I never forgot how warm they were and I will admit, it made me even more of a fan of Eau D’Itale. Paestum Rose is one of my favorite summertime go-to scents from the collection and after reconnecting with Sebastian earlier this year for the Launch of Jardin du Poete at Aedes de Venustas, it quickly made its way into my rotation as well. I need to add a full bottle to the collection. It’s one of those no-brainer wear year round type of scents.
