A round of applause for the increasing fragrance and grooming coverage in men’s magazines. The more men paying attention to these details, the better. I cannot tell you how many women I speak with who are in favor of guys putting more effort into how the smell and look. Anyhow, here’s a quick roundup.
It finally dropped and the viral buzz has been crazy. Esquire’s 2011 Big Black Book is on newsstands and I love it. In addition to great style features I love its design. I’m always intrigued by what’s happening with the cover. Kudos to the design team over there. As I flipped through, I came across the fragrance story, which featured a solid selection of fragrances worthy of your consideration. They included, Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather, John Varvatos Classic, Creed’s Royal English Leather, and Hermes’ Bel Ami. You cannot go wrong with any of these.
If you’ve been keeping up with Fragrant Moments, you’ll understand this next statement. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I’m especially loving Details’ fragrance and grooming coverage. I’ve featured the magazine a few times this year and its back at it in the October issue. This time, its focus is on grooming and highlights the benefits of products containing seaweed.
Well, there you have it. If you haven’t already seen them, pick them up and always, sample before you buy.
