The March issues of your favorite men’s magazines are on newsstands now. Each possesses great style tips but the fragrance coverage was thin, for my taste. The cover of Esquire’s UK edition dared me to pick it up and I’m glad I did. Not only was the fashion on point, but it featured scents from Heeley, Oranges and Lemons Say The Bells of St Clements, Jo Malone, Earl Grey and Cucumber, and a rising fav of mine, Diptyque’s 34 Boulevard Saint Germain. This issue is worth the import price.
I recently wrote about the debut of Jo Malone’s tea blends (I’ve been wearing them and I can tell you they’ll be in heavy rotation this summer). I was, however, surprised to find out that Jo Malone, the person who started the brand, actually left the company in 2006 and is now starting another fragrance collection called Jo Loves. Read all about it on fashionista.
Last, but certainly not least, Charlie Sheen is having the best week ever and it’s only fitting he’d make it into my picks of fragrant news. Jimmy Fallon created a hilarious commercial for a Sheen fragrance called Winning. Check out Fallon’s makeup job, he looks a lot like him.
Enjoy.
