Dove’s Journey To Comfort Continues

It’s Gus Johnson’s time of year again, otherwise known as March Madness. And once again, you’ll notice Dove’s Journey To Comfort commercials. I’ve seen a few of these already and it’s nice to see them continuing the campaign this year. You may remember last year’s ads, which featured Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Georgetown Head Coach John Thompson III and former Duke point guard Bobby Hurley.

This time around, Shaquille O’Neal, Steve Nash and Tom Izzo share personal stories of incidents that have led them to become comfortable in their own skin. In one particular spot, Steve Nash discusses a time when he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks and the hometown fans booed him. That’s hard to believe now, but interesting nonetheless.

The initiative supports Dove’s collection of men’s grooming products that include antiperspirants/deodorants and personal wash.

Soon the One Shining Moment song will be played and the tournament will be complete. In the interim, enjoy the pure desire to win and the beauty that is March Madness.
